They tell me to talk to you and it will all become clear. But it’s so difficult to talk to you when I can’t even see you or hear you. I often wonder what you look like. Can’t you show yourself to me? I’m so alone. What must I do for an answer. Why can’t you give me a sign? Just so I know you’re listening and are near me.
No one understands me…. I feel so alone.

Dear God,
I want to thank you, most of all for being a good listener.
Even when I don't ask you to hear my words, you are always there, and you pay attention anyways.
No matter how much I have to say or how long I chatter on, you are always very
patient, you never interrupt or contradict me, and I know that I can trust you
with my biggest secrets.
Thank you for listening to me cry for days and days when my first 'love' didn't work out, and thank you for being patient when I prayed for a million different
things for my birthday.
Thank you for not telling Mom and Dad all the awful things that I say about them
when I get angry, and also thank you for just being silent and giving me the
opportunity to let my feelings out.
You are never judgemental about anything I say, and 1 don’t need to hide anything from you.
You speak no words, yet I know you listen, not just with your mind, but with your
heart.
Without fail, you are always there when I need you.
When I call, I never get the answering machine or the busy signal, any time of night.
You're never too tired to take the time to hear me speak.

Thank you, God, for your attentive care and for always finding my words important enough to listen to.

So it seems so right that we can talk to God like this.
For some people it is so real that they can even express it in poetry.

I Talk to GOD

I talk to God, he’s a real nice guy.

A real friend to me, not pie in the sky.

I talk to God daily, it doesn’t cost a dime.

All it takes is a little of my time .

Sometimes I talk, sometimes a song,

Sometimes it’s short, sometimes it’s long.

It’s really very simple, you should try praying to.

So please write to me, just me and you.
