GUIDING PRINCIPLES.
As a contemporary articulation of both the Gospel vision and the Redemptorist
charism the Clonard Community adopt the following as their guiding principles for
the next five years.

VISION
Our vision of Clonard is of a Centre of welcome and outreach,
of faith and wisdom, where people, especially the broken,
can find the freedom to discover the plentiful
Redemption of Jesus.

MISSION STATEMENT
As a Community of Redemptorists and Co-workers, in partnership with
others, we will celebrate and proclaim the plentiful redemption of Jesus.
We will strive to make each liturgy a living experience of God and be open
and available to all in their search for peace.
We will create an environment that will attract and reach out to those
who feel alienated from belief or from the Church.
VALUE BASE

PRophetic: We proclaim the Gospel with urgency, courage and zeal and are willing to challenge and take risks.
Community / Partnership: we are at our best when we live and work together
Simplicity: we are with and for ordinary people.
Mercy / Reconciliation: we desire that people experience the mercy of Jesus.
Personal Faith: we have a personal relationship with Jesus.
Eqality: we recognise the absolute dignity of all people as God’s children and welcome diversity. Mission: we go out beyond where we are with hope and constancy.
