Opening Prayer
Let us pray;
God, our Father, we rejoice in the victory of Jesus over death.
Your power is stronger than evil, because love is the strongest power of
all.
We know we need the help of Christ who suffered for us.
We pray for all who need his companionship, and ask for the gift of
trust –
trust in your power to bring good out of evil,
as you raised him to new life from the death we all share.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Prayer Over The Gifts
Lord God, we offer our gifts of bread and wine,
reminders to us of the death and resurrection of Jesus.
Help us, through this prayer, to recognise your presence
in all the moments of our lives,
and to be sensitive instruments of your peace and love.
We ask this in the name of Jesus the Lord. Amen
Concluding Prayer
Let us pray;
Bless each person here, Father, before we go.
As we gather in the name of Jesus
may we be strengthened to live in his name too.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. |
