Prayers for the Day

Opening Prayer

Let us pray;
Lord God, Creator of all that lives,
give us, we ask you, a joy in the gift of life.
May we be thankful for our lives,
and show this in our love for each other,
and in our willingness to be of service to your people,
as Mary was in bringing your Son, Jesus, to birth,
and in her following of him.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen

Prayer Over The Gifts

Lord God, with gifts of bread and wine, we give you all of our lives.
May we like Mary be filled with your love,
so that you are present again and again in your people.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Concluding Prayer

Let us pray;
Lord God, Bless us as we go from this place.
In all we do and say, may we, like Mary, be of service to you.
In our friendships, our homes, and our families may we find your presence and peace.
And may the Mother of Perpetual Help continue to point us to you as our only source of hope and salvation.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
