Prayers for the Day

Opening Prayer

Let us pray;
Lord God, deepen our conviction
that each man and woman in the world
is created in your image and likeness.
Help us all to work for the dignity of each person
We make this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen

Prayer Over The Gifts

As we offer gifts of bread and wine
may we also offer our time and interest
in trying to help people in need.
We make this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Concluding Prayer

Let us pray;
As we have received from this table, Lord God,
the food of life and the bread of our salvation,
we ask that we may become in our world
the compassion, forgiveness, and justice
of Jesus your Son,
