Prayers for the Day |

A Reading from the Prophet Isaiah:
This Rejoice, Jerusalem and be glad for her, all you who
love her. Rejoice for her, all you who mourned over her. That you may
come and be satisfied from the abundance of her goodness, and savour
with delight the sweetness of her beauty. Like a son comforted by his
mother, will I comfort you. At the sight, your heart will rejoice, and
your bones will flourish like the grass. To his servants, the Lord will
reveal his hand. |
